Role Overview: Forward Deployed Engineer
We’re seeking a versatile Forward Deployed Engineer
who blends strong engineering skills with exceptional communication. You’ll
work directly with customers—from onboarding through ongoing
optimization—ensuring they extract maximum value from HappyRobot’s AI platform.
You’ll also help shape product direction by building features, MVPs, and
scalable solutions informed by real customer needs.
What You’ll Do
- Customer-Facing
Engineering: Partner with customers to onboard,
integrate, and optimize AI solutions.
- Product
& Technical Development: Build features,
MVPs, and scalable systems that drive measurable outcomes.
- Full-Stack
Engineering: Develop robust tools using React,
TypeScript, Node.js, and Python.
- AI/ML
Applications: Design and iterate on AI/ML
solutions, including LLM prompting, voice tuning, and transcription
workflows.
- Integrations
& APIs: Own third-party integrations and API
management for seamless customer experiences.
- Cross-Functional
Collaboration: Work closely with Product,
Engineering, and Customer Success teams.
- Iterative
Problem-Solving: Improve solutions continuously using
customer feedback and evolving requirements.
- Project
Management: Juggle multiple high-priority
projects under tight timelines without compromising quality.
Must-Have Qualifications
- Strong
full-stack experience (React, TypeScript, Node.js).
- Hands-on
Python proficiency.
- Experience
building AI/ML applications, including LLM prompting and tuning.
- Proven
ability to manage APIs and third-party integrations.
- Excellent
communication skills—able to explain technical concepts to non-technical
stakeholders.
- Demonstrated
success prioritizing and delivering across multiple projects.
